Ever since I accepted the Lord I knew that Gods uses the hands of His children. But what transpires when the hands of His people fail to do their job? The answer is that people go hungry, they live in conditions that are below standards, they are forced to live where there are still slum lords and so forth.
What does the above say about Christian society today? Have those in the faith become like those in the very temple Jesus chased out with a whip? Are some professing Christians actually money changers? If the Christians of today lived in the time of Moses when he came down off Mount Zion what would have God done?
Then too allow me to ask you this question; does te acts of the Christians mentioned in the book of Acts reflect that of how Christians are to act towards others seven days a week? How about we read a little of what is in Gods Word:
For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. And all that believed were together, and had all things common; And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. Acts 2: 39-47
Why does the world mock and ridicule the church? I think it is because they do not se what we see in the above scriptures. When you share love you get love in return. Think of it this way; God demonstrated unto the world His ove for us by giving us His only Son. So how much more could the church today share Gods love with the society of today?
- IF you are in need of food, clothing and better housing ask GOd to bring forth the right person to assist you on your way in peace.
- If you are a Christian will you make your hands His hands and help not only those in need of food, clothing and better housing. But also help those who are disabled. For you see as you do it to the least of these you do it unto Him. Make your hands demonstrate what HIS hands can do; not just to those in your church but to those who live about you.

Did you know that those on disability who are on Food Stamps might very well ve eating only one meal a day if not every other day? Its is true! The reason is that often they are afraid they will not have enogh food to last them until the following month. Some receive so little that it figure out to be that they only get to spend $1.50-$2.50 per day in food if not less. Now ask yourself this question; If I were on disability and or on Food Stamps could I more forward with only one meal a day. And by the way sometimes that only meal may consist of nothing more than a sandwich nothing more and indeed less. Now ask yourself could you do what these people do every day and every month some even for the rest of their lives?
Why are American, including Christians, sending food to other countries like Russia, India and Africa when there are people of all races and creeds going without right here in the United States? Is it perhap time we say enough is enough and really make sure the people in American have a decent roof over their head free of mice and bugs and enough food in the pantry to last 2 months?
Hunger in the United States has to stop for all races, creeds and colors!
